Since we are turning the clock back here are two pictures of me in the late 40's on my 39UL with the Hack. This was the family car in those days. I might add Wanda was in Spokane, Wa and I was in Ft. Myers, Fl. we were not aquainted.

Here is a shot of me right after I returned from Prisoner of War Status in Germany. I was there 16 month after being shot down on my 28th mission.

This the plane I was flying on, I was the radio operator. We took a direct hit in the area of the waist door blowing off the entire tail. Five of the ten man crew were able to bail out, I rode this baby for about 10,000 feet before I was able to get out. Merry Christmas and happy 20th birthday. Dec 20, 1943. The Eager Beaver had flown many missions. Some one sent this picture to my mother as I had been reported Killed in Action.

Lets get back to motorcycles, here is my wife Wanda she has been riding for over 57 years and this is her 94 Softail, the favorite of her three motorcycles. She has an 89 Goldwing and an 86 700 Shadow both in outstanding condition. She is my best friend also, we have been married 12 years.

Now everyone knows the guy with the most toys wins so here is my 94 Road King. When I was young I wanted an Electroglide in the worst way and this finally cured the yearning

The next two picture show my 96 Peace Officer Special when I got it in Seattle. One picture shows me with Shaun, Wanda's son and a man as close to me as he could be. The other picture is Wanda and I with the same bike. It is an FLHTCUI.

I almost forgot this one it is very stern looking but all Colonels think they have to look like bears. Actually this was taken when I returned from Nam and it had been a long year. I am sure I was ready to retire and find a lighter side of life. I thought I would add a second one that didn't look to scarey.
