Davy's Fonts
About Davy's Fonts
David Rakowski is a respected composer, typographer and Finale
user whose typefaces have been distributed for the past several years through
Intecsas oHG. The Really Loud Font Company has
licensed Dr. Rakowski's music fonts from Inecsas and has reencoded his
fonts, with modified character sets to assist Finale users of all skill
levels.
Davy's fonts are available for both Macintosh and Windows OS. The sets
are priced at $40 each. Davy's fonts are grouped into three sets:
- Barnett Music and Text Fonts
A family of two fonts which give Finale scores the look of 19th Century
American music engraving. Also insert old-style music characters into text
blocks and word processor documents.
- Lassus Fonts
A family of four fonts (plus two MultiMaster fonts for MacOS only)
which permit the notation of elementary musical examples from within most
word processors.
- Musica Font
An assortment of musical and amusing characters for use in word processors
and DTP.
