Charity Begins at Home

Because I make more things then I can possibly use or give away to family and friends, I became interested in doing my craft to help others. Below are a few organizations that I have contributed my needlecraft to help others that are less fortunate.

Community Angels Charity Crochet This link lists a different charity every month.
Project Linus Provides "Security" crocheted blankets to seriously ill children, especially pediatric cancer patients.
Care Ware This organization provides caps and blankets for preemies and under weight newborns in neo-natal intensive care units in various hospitals around the U.S.
Warm Up America Help make 9" squares that will be joined to make afghans for the needy. The finished afghans are given to the Red Cross for distribution.
