My Voyager Stories

Gosh, that's so original....but it's accurate. This is an updated version (February 28, 2000) of my personal archive; a special place for the stories I've written since I sold my soul to Star Trek:Voyager.

Part of the original inspiration that led me to finally take the plunge into web publishing and creating my own homepage was the vast amount of Voyager stories I found in so many places on the internet. I've been writing fanfic, of one sort or another, for over 20 years, and been published in many zines. But in the beginning, the idea of publishing on the web felt a bit odd...however, as I explain elsewhere, you spend too much time watching "good-parts" versions of Voyager episodes (yes, I admit it--Tom Paris scenes!) and you get a little carried away. Thus, inspiration can lead to...madness? Obsession? I've written twenty-four Voyager stories since June of 1997--you tell me!

This group of P/T stories is known as the Daybreak Series. They are listed here in the suggested order of reading, not the order in which they were written. Since the series can be considered an alternate universe, I've put together a Daybreak Timeline to help sort things out.

(My fourth story actually should have been my first! The idea was sort of left behind when I first got caught up in this...addiction.)

Turn Around... -- Charts the Paris/Torres relationship through most of third season, in moments unseen in the series. Rated PG. (Posted 8/15/97)

Into The Woods -- Almost immediately follows Turn Around..., after the events in "Displaced." Tom and B'Elanna go on their first...well, let's not call it a "date," okay? Rated PG. (Posted 8/27/97)

Revisions -- They survived that first "date." Now the lieutenants must adjust to the changes in their lives as they get to know each other better. Rated PG-13. (Posted 2/10/99)

Daybreak -- B'Elanna and Tom contemplate the next step in their tumultuous relationship. Set in a variation of early fourth season Voyager. Rated PG. (Posted 6/25/97)

The Course of True Love -- The lieutenants discover that life on a starship in the middle of nowhere can have its ups and downs for two people in love. Immediate sequel to Daybreak. Rated NC-17. (Posted 8/1/97)

This Crazy Little Thing Called Love -- A successful relationship is based on many emotional parameters! A coda to The Course of True Love. Rated NC-17. (Posted 2/17/98)

In The Midnight Hour -- Things were supposed to be under control for Lieutenants Paris and Torres. But love can have a strange effect on people... Follows the two above stories. Rated R. (Please note: the link above is now my own--this story was originally posted on 10/25/97 at The P/T Collective Archive. Thanks, Tara!)

Passages of Fortune (Chapter One) -- The continuation of this alternate universe. Captain Janeway reflects on what has gone before. Tom and B'Elanna make plans for the future. Life goes on for the Voyager crew, with some complications, as usual. Rated PG. (Posted 12/5/99)

Passages of Fortune (Chapter Two) -- It's just another typical day on Voyager--or is it? Tom and B'Elanna have words. Chakotay has a few choice ones of his own. Doc has something to look forward to, although Tom doesn't. Rated PG-13. (Posted 2/27/2000)

Something a little different: The Crayon Story -- Okay, it's P/T, and it probably could count as a Daybreak story, and, well...it defies explanation! So go, read, enjoy. Rated PG. (Posted 3/2/98)

Independent Stories:

(Not set in the Daybreak timeline.)

Father and Child Reunion -- Set in the "Before and After" timeline. Rated G. (Posted 7/3/97)

Honor Satisfied -- The epilogue I wasn't going to write for "Day of Honor." An "afterwards" scene for this long-awaited P/T episode. Rated G. (Posted 9/21/97)

Swordplay -- A canon-based story set between fourth and fifth season. What happens when B'Elanna gets fed up with Tom's Klingon exercise program? Rated NC-17. (Posted 7/26/98)

After The Fall -- Tom struggles with the mystery of why he's afraid of stasis. Rated PG. (Posted 10/6/98--a response to a challenge on the P/T Collective Archive, following the episode "One:" Just how claustrophobic is Tom Paris, and why?)

Mood Indigo -- A "missing scene" from the episode "Drone," written for those of us who wondered why B'Elanna woke up alone. Rated R. (Posted 10/24/98)

The Soul's December -- After her extreme risks, what can B'Elanna do to reclaim her life? Rated PG. (Posted 11/8/98)

Even Heroes... -- A coda to "Thirty Days." The question is, does good always triumph? Rated PG. (Posted 12/11/98)

Blood Will Tell -- A coda to "Course:Oblivion." Some questions have no easy answers. Rated PG. (Posted 310/99)

Deck Nine, Section 12 -- A companion piece to "Someone To Watch Over Me," co-written with Miranda Kelley. Just how hard is it to get some sleep some nights on certain decks? Rated PG-13. (Posted 5/2/99)

Inside Out (Canon or Daybreak) -- Tom reflects on the life he's living. Rated R. (Posted 7/5/99)

The Problem With Paris -- B'Elanna is asked to tell a story. Rated PG. (Posted 10/3/99)

My Father's Voice -- A "missing scene" from "Pathfinder." Tom reacts as the message from Starfleet sinks in. Rated PG. (Posted 12/2/99)

Trick of the Light -- A Janeway vignette. Fair Haven's gone, but not forgotten. Rated PG. (Posted 1/20/2000)

Collaborations:

In response to a challenge on the PT Fever List, Captain Chris and I decided to join forces, and ended up writing two stories! (Both rated NC-17)

"Best-Laid Plans" -- Paris, Torres, and a turbolift. Need we say more?

"After Hours" -- Just what did happen in the mess hall one night?

Go here for our Collaborative Efforts.
