DangerMom's Home Page Mark II
This is the place...
...to the UPDATED version of DangerMom's Home Page!
Special Update:
June 25, 2001
Circumstances force me to post the type of disclaimer I've never used before on any of my pages:
Please do not archive any of my stories anywhere on the net!
Thank you.
You can still get my latest stories by using the info just below. E-mail me for the details of the
"Drive" Trilogy!
My latest recommendation:
Ever wonder what goes on inside the heads of some of your favorite fanfic writers? Then try
TrekGirl's Writers Circle for some fascinating interviews. (Yes, I'm there too...)
While at TrekGirl's site, look for a link to DangerMom's Cabin, where Annie is kindly hosting
most of my newest stories.
What's been happening
Short stories written since early 2000 are available through e-mail.
"Stark Raving Looney Tunes" (PG-13) P/T. What did Tom do to keep "sane" while Doc was in
the Alpha Quad? "Oh, For a Muse Of Fire..." written before I'd seen the episode "Muse." A bit of
speculation and wishful thinking. Rated PG-13.
April 11, 2000
"No Good Deed, or Stuff and Nonsense" (PG-13) P/T
Inspired by a friend, and a bit of dialogue in "Tsunkatse." An origin story, as they say in the
superhero business. Fluff, mostly.
"A Cold Space Beside Me" (PG) P/T
Introspection on the complexities of a relationship.
I'll answer requests for these as quickly as possible!
Please be aware that I may not be making any updates for a while. AOL, in its wisdom and
goodness (HAH!) has decided to eliminate the Personal Publisher 2 program that so many people
(including HTML-clueless moi) have relied upon for quick and easy web page publishing.
Alternates are being offered, but some are less than desirable, and more annoying than AOL
wants to acknowledge. It may be several weeks more before I hit upon my own preferable
solution to this problem. Meanwhile, all my pages will be up. Some may disappear temporarily as
I find a way and place to republish. URLs MAY change in the future. I apologize for any
inconvenience, but please bear with me. Thank you!

Passages of Fortune, Chapter Two is now available. It's just another typical day on Voyager--or is
it?
There have been over 600 hits on Chapter One, but I've only received one e-mail! I'd like to think
some of those hits mean it's actually being read, and I would greatly appreciate some
comments--at least to have an idea that someone's enjoyed the beginning, and would like to read
more. And feedback for the new chapter is welcome. Thanks!

Something new, and different for me: A Janeway vignette--Trick of the Light. Rated PG.

Update: DangerMom's Archive is finally up-to-speed with all twenty-four of my story links.
*PLEASE NOTE*: If you've visited recently, and read my newest Daybreak installment, please
note that I had to make a slight change in the story. The explanation may be found with the story
(at the archive).
Latest feature: a Daybreak Timeline.
PLEASE NOTE: I have deconstructed the Soundtrack Page. If you were linked to it, it no longer exists.
Everyone should read Fan Fiction's Ten Commandments.
References:
My own early initiation into Voyager/Trek fandom on-line came from two sources:
Julia Houston's Star Trek Voyager Reviews is a valuable archive, and link to About.com's Guide
to Star Trek Fans, also maintained by the inestimable Julia. A definitive source for all things Trek
on the web.
Jim Wright's DELTA BLUES is also more than just a review site. Here you'll find polls, links,
and the occasional surprise--Jim's full of them!
Currently, my favorite place for daily Trek news updates is TrekToday.
Can't find a link you're used to seeing here? Then I've taken down the page (or will soon). Some
pages will be merged as well.
My own Voyager fiction can still be found at DangerMom's Archive.
Tips, tools and writing rules are available at The English Department.
Some of my favorite stories by other writers are located at the Fiction Archive.
A Trek change o' pace:
Need a break from Voyager fanfic? Then here's something different...
Reconciliation is a response to several TNG episodes, most notably, "Unification." The intro may
be found at DangerDad's FanFic.
If you love Q (and I know I do!) then try Julia Houston's novelette (novella?): From Me to Q in
which our favorite omnipotent entity tangles with Picard and Company again.
Then go on to another of Julia's Q adventures, Q Music.
A little visit to DS9 territory? Then you might like my vignette about Julian Bashir, Last Rites.
Must...have e-mail...to (gasp!)...live...
Seriously, comments and feedback are welcome! Please send them HERE.
And if you travel to any of the links found above, don't forget to send comments to the
appropriate address!
