*Cue Sinister Music* "Dungeons and Dragons...! Satan's Game... ! Your children, like it or not, are drawn to the occult in their weaker years..." ... Ahem... Nevermind.
Anyway, below you will find various information for use for D&D 3.5 edition. Characters, Classes, Feats, Items, etc etc etc. Enjoy.
UPDATE: 4th Edition is coming Soon (tm) -- June 6th actually. I'll keep this stuff archived, or perhaps work on converting characters over to 4e, or both. Who knows? In the meantime, get every single last bit of information about the new edition at www.DnD4.com.
I'll include a few notes on things I disagree with or prefer over other ideas, as both a player and DM. Character design, various skills, feats, items, etc., all found here.
CHARACTERS / NPCs
Over the years, I've played several various characters in many roleplaying games, but out of all of them, I've been inspired to create more in D&D than any other system, be it White Wolf, GURPS, ShadowRun or otherwise. I have many of them listed here for your edification, amusement, or use as NPCs.
Tethryn Lahralein - My first 3rd-edition character, an eccentric elf sorcerer, and one of the earls of Maergh, an earldom overseen by himself and a group of fellow adventurers, the so-called "Twelve-Second Dragon Killers".
Konrad 'Kneebiter' Kelso - A Talenta halfling rage mage from the jungles of Q'Barra, accompanied by his trusty clawfoot dinosaur familiar.
Gaius Marius Calidus - A human Roman ex-legionnaire and cleric of Minerva, reforged by an emissary of his deity into a paladin.
Jorezzel - A character revised multiple times through conversion between editions and one-off game sessions; A drow wizard on the losing side of a great war.
Sidhreth Auzkovyn - Also known as the 'Thief of Spiders', a surface drow Fang of Lolth, who got a little more than she bargained for.
Andzrel - Prince and second son to the matron mother of house Ilharolath, 4th house of the drow city of Nazuum-- and a half-fiend draegloth, to boot.
Jeryvvin - Once an accomplished bard from the drow city of Erelhei-Cinlu, now outcast after failing one of Lolth's many tests, stalking the underdark as a drider.
CLASSES AND TEMPLATES
I have, on occasion, developed a prestige class or two, or variant on a core class, for games I have played or DMed. Take a look, make use of them if you like.
Draegloth - A half-drow, half-demon creature from the Forgotten Realms setting, broken down into a racial class after reading "Savage Species". Originally created before the publishing of "Champions of Ruin", and revised after that book's production as an alternative to the class found in that book.
Drider - Drow are put through many tests (some call them punishments) by their goddess Lolth, to measure their will, cunning, and devotion. If a dark elf fails a test called the Chwidridera, he or she becomes a drider, a half-humanoid, half-arachnid mockery of their former selves. This entry breaks down the Monster Manual drider entry into a template to be added to a drow of 6th level or higher.
Dragon Disciple - This prestige class has gone through at least two official incarnations, their merits and drawbacks discussed, and disagreements on all sides about how the class should work. Here, I present my own version, one blending the transformation into a dragon-blooded creature with continuing growth in the character's magical abilities to match.
IDEAS MAGICAL AND MUNDANE
A few random items and abilities I've come up with over time, magical and otherwise.
