-Another Pure Speculations has been and gone. The costume party was quite amusing. Both Erin and Terry won some cool stuff and everyone looked great. A good time was had by all.

- This past weekend we all took charted buses from Happy Harbour down to the Calgary Comic and Entertainment expo. We had a fantastic time. Ray Park was in attendance signing autographs. This coming weekend we are attending free comic book day in costume at Happy Harbour.

-This past weekend we had the Kids for Cancer Mall Walk with the 501st and the Edmonton Collectable Toy and Comic Show with guest Daniel Logan. We had a fantastic time check out the photos in our picture gallery

We just held our February meeting this last weekend, it was a great turnout :) We have new business cards and t-shirts made up. We've decided on a date for the annual Forcefest camping trip.

Thanks for your intrest in our FanForce.

We were founded by Indigo Jade on April 29, 2002, in Edmonton, Alberta, and on the FanForce messageboards. We currently have a large number of long term members, with more joining up all the time.

We have a diverse membership, with all ages and occupations being represented. Our membership includes some very creative people, and many of our own members have their own websites that showcase their own creative talents about a Galaxy Far Far Away. Please check the links menu for these great hobbiests.

Granted "Official" FanForce status on September 29, 2002, we are still working hard to build our FanForce into the best it can be!!!

We have a range of events that can be as casual as a games night at a members house to as formal as official functions in full costume promoting the release of a Star Wars film or DVD. Although we do not require a costume for you to be a member.

Many of us have had our own personal fandom dreams come true. From meeting Star Wars authors (Tim Zahn) in elevators to working on films with Jeremy 'Boba Fett' Bulloch and even sharing a pizza supper across the table from Peter 'Chewbacca' Mayhew.

We are a very open and friendly group and hope you'll send us an e-mail and perhaps in the future you'll 'take your first step into a larger world' and join up .
