UCLA's 24th Annual Entertainment Law Symposium

The 24th Symposium will assess the impact of rapidly evolving entertainment technologies, focusing primarily on digital media and the Internet. The rapid evolution of new media formats and product delivery options is changing many aspects of doing business in the entertainment industry. The Internet floodgates are open and will soon swamp the current business practices in the entertainment industry -- it will be sink or swim for entertainment lawyers and business people. This seminar focuses exclusively on the profound impact that the Internet is having on all aspects of the entertainment industry, including music, television, films, and merchandising. The focus will include the new business models, production opportunities and distribution channels, as well as the legal and financial implications. This is a must-attend event for anyone who does not want to become obsolete and be replaced by someone from Silicon Valley.

Tickets for full-time students with ID are only $30.00 (one ticket per student). The Entertainment Symposium Syllabus may be purchased separately by students at the discounted price of $30.00. Student tickets are only available through the UCLA Central Ticket Office.
