Wiener Dog Takes the Money and Runs

The Offer a doxie couldn't refuse
The love of money is the root of all evil, it is said. Here is a human being offering a dachshund (my own sweet innocent Wotan) cold hard cash! We know what dark paths this shall lead him down. Next thing you know he'll be sauntering into Costco and buying 20 pound bags of pig ears to feed his addiction.


The bait is taken
Dachshund corruption has begun. The greenbacks are in his possession...what ever shall Wotan do?


Escape is imminent
Wieners on the run. If he can only make it up the stairs his plans will be advanced.


Flaunting his ill gotten gains
Wotan taunts the camera woman with his wad of $5 dollar bills.


Trapped!
Trapped in midflight like the rat that he is...oh, no that's really the rat killer he is.


Held prisoner
Captured by the enemy and held prisoner in his own home! The indignity of it all overwhelms this dachshund.


On display
The larger human puts the prisoner Wotan on display. And still he won't relinquish his loot.


Stubborn Dachsie
Like a typical dachsie Wotan is stubborn and holds his prize.


Now to remove the evidence
It should be simple for a 180-pound man to remove the money from the mouth of an 11- pound wiener dog.


The strength of a thousand doxies
Well, maybe it won't be so easy to get the bills without tearing them after all. Wotan pulls on his prize with all of his strength. Look at the grip he has on the deck with those front paws! This struggle may go on all day...and night.
