Introduction

The word "Feedel" means "Alphabet". Because alphabets together make words, we chose the name Feedel. Since 1985, Feedel has been involved in the development of Software for Ethiopic Languages. This has culminated in the successful adaptation of the Ethiopic Characters for the Windows/PC and the Macintosh environment. Feedel believes that the Ethiopic alphabet should be able to be written in any computer application that allow multiple fonts and to be manipulated for processing of words, data or graphics in Ethiopic fonts.

Principles of Feedel's implementation of the Ethiopic Characters to the Computer

Character integrity must not be compromised

The alphabet table should be supported.

All alphabets should be within one font.

Accessibility to a multitude of programs should be attained
