Mischa was next featured in the Blockbuster
"Notting Hill" Shot in London during the Spring of 1998, and released
during the Summer of 1999. This Romantic Comedy starring Julia Roberts and
Hugh Grant, got its name from the district of Notting Hill in London where
it was
filmed.
Notting Hill played to huge Box Office success and rave reviews!! Mischa plays the young American actress in a very funny comedy scene filmed with Hugh Grant at the Ritz Hotel in London.

THE SIXTH SENSE
Mischa went on to play the role of "Kyra Collins"
in "THE SIXTH SENSE". This Oscar nominated movie was to become the tenth
highest grossing film of all time raking in over $330 million

'Sixth Sense' was released by Disney in September 1999 and is now available on VHS and DVD. Mischa leaves us with yet more remarkable images in the shape of the vomiting ghost of Kyra Collins!!! Those of you who watched the Oscars may have noticed the many clips of Mischa featured heavily in the 'tribute to the young actors who have entertained us during the past century'.
PUPS
The Movie Pups followed on after the 'Sixth Sense'. 'Pups' features Burt Reynolds, Kurt Loder and Premiered at the LA Film Festival April 15th- 20th '99. The image will take you to more 'Pups' links.
SKIPPED PARTS
This was quickly followed by a feature from Trimark based on a novel by the celebrated author Tim Sandlin called Skipped Parts . This is a coming of age story about two young teens, Maurey Pierce played by Mischa and Sam Callahan played by Bug Hall. This poignant story stars Jennifer Jason Leigh. Drew Barrymore plays a cameo as 'Fantasy Girl'. Brad Renfro plays the one time boyfriend of Maurey Pierce.
PARANOID
Next up was 'Paranoid', directed by John Duigan it filmed in Europe and was another thriller, Paranoid starring Jean Tripplehorn, Jessica Alba.
FRANKIE & HAZEL
Then came a Showtime Movie entitled "Frankie and Hazel" staring Joan Plowright and Mischa Barton in the title role of "Frankie" a young teen who faces tough choices between the distractions of her teenage life and her future as a Prima Ballerina. 'Frankie' is also the coolest baseball player!!! Produced by Barbra Streisands' Barwood Films.
TART
'Tart' filmed in 2000 and was shot in New York and Toronto. Mischa played the epitomy of an Upper Class British girl aged 17 eroded by the stresses and apathy of the 80's in the private school system on New York's Upper Eastside. Mischa stars with Dominique Swain, Melanie Griffith, Brad Renfro, Lacey Chabert.
LOST & DELIRIOUS
Lost and Delirious with Piper Perabo, Graham Greene, and Jackie Burroughs followed on...a sizzling movie about love and relationships at a girls private girls' school...directed by Lea Pool

Well, for those of you who have been following this page, I started it a couple years back when I saw this little lady on Stage in New York. I was as fascinated by her then as I am now, she has a huge range of talent!! Here's to a Shining Star of the Next Century...I just hope this page can keep up!!!
