This story has been published in a book called "Treating Autism" "Parent Stories of Hope and Success". that was Edited by Dr. Bernard Rimland, Ph.D., and Stephen M. Edelson, Ph.D.of the Autism Research Institute.  The book was written in part by parents of children with autism who have had success with dietary, supplemental and other biomedical interventions that were following the DAN Protocol.  Ohter parts were contributions from Drs. Bernard Rimland, Ph.D., John Green, and Stephen M. Edelson, Ph.D.  The book can be found at Amazon.com

"Brayden's Story"

We are a family of 5, Brayden is our 3 and almost ˝ year old, our youngest.  He was born in September of ’99.  He has screamed literally from the second he was born.  We have been concerned about there being something wrong with him for a long time.  Our families on both sides see his actions and tell us “there is something wrong with that child”, but offer no solutions......

"Emma's Story"

This is my story about Emma.  She was born January 27, 1999.  She was a healthy large baby and is the pride and joy of my life.  Emma developed very typically, reaching all of her milestones early. I remember how she used to say “momma” “dada” all the time and light up when she saw me.  All of that changed….
