Comments about the web site: I found this page from Rachel Blackard's web page and like hers it helps me carry on in life without my grandpa. I was too young to know or even be friends with Chris, but I heard alot about him from my older sister Heather, who was good friends with him. I can remember when the terrible incident happened, and how so many people were sad and mourning for his loss. He was a very goodlooking young man and I know for a fact that he was loved by many. I just wanted to tell you i think it's very nice of you to take the time to make such beautiful memories of the ones we have lost, and I don't know how much I can explain to you that it helps me get by day to day. When i first came to this page I wasn't expecting to hear this song. It took my breath away and I started to cry, I must have listened to it a dozen times. I made each of parents come and hear this beautiful song, as i read each saying to them. My dad had a tear in his eye and thats when I knew it was something more amazing than anything and it touches people who don't even know Chris. You see, this song was played at my grandpa's funeral Sept.9 2000 and again at my great grandma's funeral earlier this past Feb., and it is such a reminder of my grandpa (Popa) and my great grandma (Mom). Thank you again. Chris is in heaven and my Popa is keeping him company and making him laugh. MY prayers go out to Chris's mom and dad and family. May he bless you.

I had known Chris for years but had only begun to be good friends with him in the recent years leading to his untimely death. As a matter of fact on the night he died I had only seen him hours before jogging down Greenbrook Parkway. I stopped to tell him that I would catch up with him later on that evening....that never happened. Its a sad world when someone as cool and as nice as Chris can be taken for reasons that cant be explained and its also something that shouldnt have to be explained...it shouldnt have happened. God had a plan for Chris and I truly believe that his death was a warning from the Lord God above that you shouldnt take life, friends, or family for granted.
