HI WELCOME TO HASHville
People ask were is HASHville
Well HASHville is not a location but a state of mind in 1955 Hudson and Nash Merged to
form AMC and built HUDSONS and NASHS in 55,56,57 because of the Nash connection the name
HASH came about long ago from THE GOOD OLD BOYS, who never gave these great cars a chance
just because they were not a STEP/down . Boy were they wrong as many of you know. If you
are not a believer just ask for a ride in OUR 57 YOU WILL BELIEVE WHEN YOU ARE DONE!
I for one would have never known of Hudsoning if it hadn't been for a Ratty old 57 Hudson
Custom sedan the I bought for $50 in 1968. It is the car that Stefi and I dated in before
we got married in November 1969 and have always had a 57 Hudson We bought the Black 57
Hollywood for $500 from Norm Lepper from Ohio in June of 7,1 it seams that noone really
wanted it, but we jumped at the chance to buy it.He had bought it from Larry Neal From
Iowa in 68 the Neal BOYS had the car for years and were known for the speed of the 57
while in high school and collage they got the car from the Original Owner. We now own 3 57
Hollywoods that you see photo's of here.
I have had the pleasure of meeting lots Hudson Club Members over the years and some of
5,6,7 owners over the 30 some years we have been Hudsoning and we have our own 5,6,7 Group
that has a news letter, THE KENOSHA CONNECTION. I am the 5,6,7 tech adviser for the Hudson
Club and the keeper of the 57 Registry, so as you see things around our place are very
HASH related. THE SAYING WOW I COULD HAVE HAD A. V8 IS THE TRUTH just fill up any car with
gas AND TRY AND KEEP with a 57 HUDSON.
Now a little about us we started dating in 9th grade that was 1964 I KNEW FROM THE FIRST
TIME I SAW HER THAT SHE WAS THE ONLY GIRL FOR ME Stefi hated me for the first few months
SHE and I just didn't see things the same way I guess my GOOD LOOKS and BOYISH charm won
her over and WE have been together ever since. We have 2 children, A daughter Lisa and a
son Eric [HERKY] who are both grown but still under our feet most times just like we were
with our parents LOL
Our Collection
My 57 Hollywood Custom 483 built and 39 Teraplane 112 Coupe, most if not all have of you have seen, But the 50 Pacemaker convertible probably is a new sight to most, although I'm sure you have heard me speak of it recently. It has been named "BABY".Restoration has begun on it.Also pictured are two other 57 Hollywoods Super 266 builts that are in my collection.
