We are a small UK boxer kennel situated in Woodville, Derbyshire, our breeding now
goes back over 25 years, we pride ourselves on the temperament and health of
our dogs, all our dogs are pets first and show dogs second. We have along with
many others been against the introduction of the new docking legislation but feel
now that docking is illegal we will have to get on with life and continue to
do our best for the breed we love.
"Faerdorn Time To Dream at Idleforde"
"Maddie" was our first championship show winning boxer and became the foundation
bitch of our kennel. Over the years we have shown several dogs from this line
successfully, as have a number of other people.

We Feel it is all to easy for exhibitors to strive for show success and to forget
that the majority of their stock go into pet homes.
On average we only breed
one litter a year, our priority has always always been the breeding of healthy
boxers with good temperaments.
We normally spend one of the Crufts days
on the Boxer stand at Discover Dogs. For strangers to Crufts, Discover Dogs
is an area within the show where the public get a chance to see and meet all breeds
of dogs, together with club representatives who pass on their knowledge and
advice.

Boxella's Chief at Zenmaxkay (Dutch import)

Dessie was named on our return from Atibox held at Lake Garda, we stayed in the town
of Desenzano. We liked the Italian Dogs so much that we try to visit the Italian
Championship Show every September. I can recommend this as a great way to
see some lovely dogs and combined with a holiday a beautiful country.
Dessie
was by a Dutch Import Boxella's Chief At Zenmaxkay, out of "Sophia".
We fell in love with "Chief" the first time we saw him and were determind
to use him one day.
Dessie's first litter to a "Chief" son, Tyeberg
Apache Chief produced a lovely litter, one of whom Idleforde Winona at Tyeberg,
has qualified for the stud book
We then mated Dessie to Manic Steet
Preacher, the result was "Marnie" she won Best in Show at the Mancunian Boxer
Club Open Show, and has had a number of other good wins.
IDLEFORDE BLACK ICE
"
Marnie"
Marnie was then mated to Julie Cook's Manic Spin Doctor and the
litter which was all dogs produced "Grant", his pedigree name is "Idleforde Bocca
Negra" he is named after old rose, as is his dam.

Not forgetting our "Jessica," a veteran of Discover Dogs,
considering that she has never been shown, she has her own fan club, and i am
sure she is responsible for many new boxer owners having fell for her charms at
Discover Dogs over the years.
