Pattern is to be used for personal use only.
Materials:
* cotton worsted
wt. yarn
* size G hook
Abbreviations:
ch - chain
st - stitch
yo - yarn over
dc - double crochet
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
To dc chs or sts together: Work just like dc 2 sts together only 5 times.
(yo, insert hook in next st; yo, pull a loop through st; yo, draw through 2
lps leaving last loop on hook - in other words don`t complete the dc stitch.
then yo and draw through all 6 loops
on hook)
Instructions:
1: With main color, ch20.
6dc in 4th ch from hook; dc in each of next 5chs; dc next 5chs together, dc in
next 5chs; 7dc in last ch; (working on opposite side of chain) dc in each of
next 7chs, 5dc in next ch; dc in next 7chs, sl st to join.
2: Ch3 (do
not turn), working in back loops only from now on; dc in same st; 2dc in each of
next 6dc, dc in next 3dc, dc next 5dc together; dc in next 3dc, 2dc in each of
next 7dc, dc in next 9dc, 5dc in next dc, dc in next 9dc, join with sl
st
3: Ch3, dc in same st, (dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc) 6 times, dc in
next 2dc, dc next 5dc together, dc in each of next 2dc, (2dc in next dc, dc in
next dc) 6 times, 2dc in next dc, dc in each of next 11dc, 5dc in next dc, dc in
next 11 dc; join with sl st
4:Ch3, dc in same st; (dc in next 2dc, 2dc
in next dc) 5 times; dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc; dc in next 2dc, dc next 5dc
together, dc in next 2dc, 2dc in next dc, dc in next dc, (2dc in next dc, dc in
next 2dc) 5 times; 2dc in next dc, dc in next 13dc, 5dc in next dc; dc in next
13dc, join with sl st to top of ch3.
Fasten off and weave in
ends.
Optional border:
Join contrasting color in any stitch and
working in both loops: Ch1, sc in same st; (sc in next 2sts, ch1) around. Join
with slip stitch. Fasten off.
