Knit Ribbed Cap

Materials:
* about 4 oz of 4ply yarn ( I made the one in the picture with Bernat

   Camouflage worsted. )
* Size 8, 16" circular needle
* Size 8, set of 4 double pointed needles

Size is about 22"

Cast on 100sts. ( For a smaller cap, cast on 96 sts. Cast on 104 sts for a larger cap.)

Work in K2, P2 rib for 91/2". (10 to 11 inches for a wider cuff.)

Begin top shaping:

1: (K2, P2 tog) around.

2 - 6: ( K2, P1) around.
You`ll probably be ready to switch to double points now.

7: (K2 tog, P1) around.

8 - 10: (K1, P1) around.

11 - 12: K2 tog around.

Cut yarn leaving about 20" or so. Thread onto a needle, draw yarn through loops of

remaining sts and draw tight. Sew closed, fasten off.
