If I were to describe myself in one word, that word would be clever. I have four daughters (all of whom are adults), two granddaughters, and one very welcome grandson!! Ultimately, the only thing over which we have total control is our attitude. Life is not so much what happens to us, but rather, our response to what happens to us. If life gives you lemons, set up a lemonade stand!!! It`s not the size of the dog in the fight. It`s the size of the fight in the dog. Ride a wild horse against the sky--hold tight to his wings before you die-- whatever else you leave undone--once ride a wild horse into the sun.   It's not how many times you get knocked down! It's how many times you get up! Ode To A Good Friend: You are my friend and I love you! I wish you everything that is bright and gay! Sunshine on a cloudy day! Rainbows many when rains cease to fall! And many a pot of gold to call your own! Daffodils at winter's end to tell you spring shall now begin. A weeping willow all your own to help you keep your cool when it's summer and it's hot. When fall comes with its colorful leaves, many, many pleasant memories.     When winter comes and the cold wind blows, a warm hearthside and a snifter of brandy to help you weather the tide.   A pleasant  life free of unpleasant changes, Success in your every endeavor.  And near the end of your years, nd when you are old aFaithful shall be your children to drive backward your aging tears.
