"New Beginnings" A baby snowy egret still in it's camo down scared
from it's protective nest by our presence into it's habitat.
Our stay was at the lovely scenic BASSHAVEN LODGE, located in
Walaka, Florida. This sunset view of the Lodge is coming in to dock
looking at the Lodge Resturant which over looks the Ocklawaha River,
as do all the guest rooms.

This badboy didn't like me taking his photo and went under our boat came up in the center of where I was standing and gave us a hard THUMP!
He was one big fat evil looking reptile.

Bottom Police Photo was sent to me by a Lake Mary, Florida Officer who wanted to verify what he had told us at the Lodge about a golfer taken from the GOLF COURSE there. This nuisance gator was captured 4 days later and disected.
He is 5 feet around the girth and 20 foot long from the tip of its tail to it's snout.
Believe me.... humans are on their food chain! Point in case....THIS WATER-HAZARD from a Florida Golf Course!
