Westminster.
Republican Mayoral Candidate NORM RYAN is scheduled to speak at our
meeting on Thursday January 24, 2002 at 7pm at Coco's Restaurant, 6405
E. Pacific Coast Hwy (in the Market Place Shopping Center next to the Gas
Station). We will be meeting in the California Room. Join us
for dinner or desert. Nominations for new officers will be taken
from the floor. Public is welcome to attend. FREE.
NORM RYAN is a past president of Long Beach Young Republicans.
He grew up in Long Beach, attending the PACE Program and graduating from
Jordan High. He is a decorated veteran having earned the rank of
Lieutenant in active service. He graduated from CSUF, and obtained his
MBA at UCLA's School Of Business. A community activist, Norm Ryan
has campaigned against unjust tax increases (Prop X), and for utility tax
reductions (Prop J). In both instances, Norm's position was supported
overwhelmingly by Long Beach voters (over 2/3's of voters passed Prop J,
just 2 years ago). Norm is married with 3 young boys. His children
attend Long Beach Schools, and he resides in East Long Beach near CSULB.

meeting on Thursday January 24, 2002 at 7pm at Coco's Restaurant, 6405
East Pacific Coast Highway (fronting on Westminster/2nd Street, next to
