Ours is a small kennel. And we are relatively new to the world of WIRE FOX TERRIERS. We were 20 years with Dachshunds.

Bob and Ruth Libner provided us with our start in Wires. From them we got our 1st, Kelsy. Here she is in her "SHOW" costume.

I hope he forgives me for cutting off his head !Richard has been a great friend and resource.

Then about two years went by when we got a wonderful phone call from Ruth. She began with, "Mike, I have something for you to think about ....."
The phone call ended with us agreeing to add Kelsy's sister, Matty, to our family! She was quite a treat for us all; especially Kelsy who now had someone to play with ALL the time. Matty had earned her Championship before coming to us.

Then it came time to consider breeding Matty. Ruth to the rescue again!
She suggested CH Louline Peterman, a most handsome dog. So we put her on a plane to the Kathrich Kennel of Kathy Reges Carlson in L.A.
She came home very pregnant and on June 21, 1997 whelped her first litter of 3 males and 2 females.

Matty did just great. No problems at all. She was just a WONDERFUL mommy. And Kelsy was a doting aunt! Our summer was filled with new experiences as we raised this litter.
The puppies are now scattered all over the country; Oklahoma, Missouri, Michigan, and Ohio.
We did keep one of them. His name is Oscar. And now we have 3 Wires!
