&amp Her litter by Select CH Northwind's Comic Strip Kid LCM (Northwind Whippets) was born on May 2, 1998 (Derby Day) and is looking marvelous. So far, we have three Champions, five ASFA Field Champions, four Lure Coursers of Merit (two LCM2s, one LCM-3), four Companion Racers (three Excellents), and one Futurity class winner! This litter achieved enough titles to earn their mother her Register of Merit (ROM) from the American Whippet Club.

vWD (von Willebrand's Disease) tested clear by Cornell University.
CERFed every year. OFA-Good hips.

Hobbes' first litter, out of CH Albelarm's Reign Forest ROMX, includes CH Snowcap's Masada and CH Snowcap’s So Dear To My Heart..
Hobbes' second litter was born April 18, 2002 out of CH Northwind's Stormin' Norma LCM. The breeder: Kay Nierengarten, Northwind Whippets, in Duluth, Minnesota. His son, Northwind's Coupe De Ville, is pointed. His daughter, Northwind's Cleopatra In Eden, finished her FCh.
Hobbes completed his LCM on April 15, 2001 by winning his FCh Flight at the AWC National Field Trial and winning High Scoring Dual Champion running in the Field Champion Stake. He and Geena won the Breeder's Stake for us. He also placed Fifth in the 2001 AWC Triathlon competition.
Hobbes earned his Champion Award of Versatility (CAV) in April 2002. He also had a 4th Place in 2002 in the Annual AWC Triathlon competition.
Hobbes earned his third Companion Racer Excellent (CRX) title in 2003 from the Whippet Racing Association (WRA) and his Oval Track Racer (OTR) from the National Oval Track Racing Association (NOTRA).
Hobbes also finished his TRP and Dual Purpose Champion from CWA.
Hobbes finished his Novice Agility Preferred (NAP) title, which qualified him for his Champion Award of Versatility Excellent (CAVX), which was awarded in April 2004. He also had a 9th place finish in the Annual AWC Triathlon competition.
Hobbes’ third litter was born on September 12, 2005 out of his niece, Rosewood’s Question of Style CRX, FCh, OTRM.

4. CH Rosewood's Riva Ridge, CRX, LCM, TRP, DPC, OTRM

Owned by Rosewood.
Riva was Winners Bitch from the Bred-by-exhibitor class (of 50) at the 1999 AWC National over 219 bitches! She finished at the AWC Midwest Specialty, August 28, 1999 in Ravenna, OH from the Bred-by exhibitor (of 20) over 75 bitches for her second 5-pointer and her third major. She then went on to Best of Winners!
She is a multiple Best of Breed winner in the ring (including a Group 2) and in the field.
Riva finished her ASFA Field Championship in only 3 Trials with three Firsts including the Open Stake of 39 at the AWC National Field Trial. Thank-you, Merril Woolf.
Riva won her LCM with six 40-point First Placements and three Bests of Breed.

Rosewood's Genuine Risk, CRX, LCM-3, Vet FCh, OTR

Fawn Brindle/ Irish-marked bitch.
Owned by Joyce Szymaniak, N. Aurora, IL.
She won her 10-12 month bitch Futurity class at the AWC National, beating her sister, Riva, who placed second.
Geena finished her FCh with a Best of Breed at Blue Grass Coursing Club and finished her LCM with five Firsts, and four Bests of Breed. Finished her LCM-2 in October 2002 with another BOB.

CH Rosewood's Real Quiet, CRX, LCM-2, TRP, DPC, OTR

Best of Breed winner in the ring and on the field.
Hush's first litter out of Sunsation Airborne Xpress, FCh is on the ground and disembarking. It includes two pointed males with FChs, one an LCM-2, a bitch with her FCh, and a pointed bitch with a Best of Breed and a Group 3.
Hush finished his Oval Track Racer title on March 30, 2003.

Charm finished her ASFA Field Championship, Memorial Day weekend 2002, with a Second and a First at the Region 5 Invitational with full stakes.
