Four Forty-Six Photography has expanded its (cyber) walls to actually include a brick and mortar establishment. Beginning in May of 2008 some of my selected framed prints will be available for viewing and for sale at the Dan River Art Market (DRAM). The DRAM is part of the Stokes County Arts Council which is located at 502 N. Main St in downtown Danbury, NC 27016.
What makes this location so special, is that it happens to be just a few miles from one of my favorite NC State Parks...Hanging Rock. It is in this park that I have photographed five different named waterfalls and one unnamed cascade. In addition, many of my landscape photographs come from this park. It is a special place for me, and has inspired many of my favorite pictures.
The DRAM is open from 8-5 Mon - Fri, and 1-5 Sat and Sun.

Why the DRAM?
As I mentioned before, the location is a huge draw for me. It is not that far from my home, and I am at Hanging Rock many times throughout the year for camping and hiking. I feel at home in this community, and I really like the slow pace of things in Danbury.
In addition to these qualities, the DRAM also offers something that other retail settings like this don't offer. That is the chance to volunteer in the Art Market. This is a real positive to me, as an artist because I will have the opportunity to meet other area artisans and craftsmen. It also provides me with the chance to speak with potential Four Forty-Six Photography clients.
