I spent the last 22 years working the streets of Miami, Florida, investigating all sorts of death cases, retiring in May of 2002. As a Miami Police Department Homicide Detective & Homicide Detective Sergeant, I have seen thousands of dead bodies. From the brutal, bizarre murders, to the everyday natural deaths that abound in any big American city. I have watched all the police shows on television and in the movies and chuckle at how the main Detective seems to solve the most complex of cases in an hour or so. Real life murder cases take days, weeks, months and sometimes years to solve.

 

I have written a REAL police novel, based on true experiences and showing you how an investigation really works. The pitfalls, the dead ends, the frustrations encountered during these cases. Although this is a fictional story, the cops roles are realistic and show how a case is investigated and solved.
