| WEEK 52: MARCH 23, 2003 FINAL CHART UPDATE FOR OSCAR YEAR 2002!! Final Winners and Commentary for the Top 8 Categories are on the Chart pages "Chicago" wins 6 of its 13 nominations including Best Picture! "The Pianist" wins 3 out of 7 nods, "Frida" and "LOTR" both win 2 out of 6 nods. Total shutouts for "Gangs of New York" with 10 nods and "Far From Heaven" with 4 nods. "The Hours" with 9 nods wins only best actress for Nicole Kidman. It proved a difficult year for predictions with some real surprises.
