About My Psychotherapy Services
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, in Northridge, California, who provides individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy services. My work includes helping people who are feeling depressed or anxious; those who are victims or perpetrators of child abuse or domestic violence; those who are facing transitions in life; families facing changes or difficulties; men or women dealing with coming out; individuals or families facing issues relating to HIV; and helping those who want to gain more insight into themselves for self growth or to improve their self-confidence/self-esteem.
I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership to seek the outcomes and changes the client desires to make. Each person is a unique individual who has been influenced by cultural and family values, institutions, spiritual beliefs, life experiences, socio-economic status, social supports, gender, age, sexual orientation, and medical/health issues. I believe it is important to work together to gain an understanding about how any, some, or all of these factors may be impacting a person's life, in order to maximize the client's strengths and effect the desired changes.
All services are provided confidentially and respectfully as outlined by legal and ethical standards.
Sessions are by appointment only and are available evenings and weekends. For more information about services or to set up an appointment please read "How To Contact Me" below.
