Red Sonia is a granddaughter of Eight-Time National Champion & Two-Time Reserve National Champion, Red Tape+//, Her maternal grandsire is Port Bask, who was known for passing on his great athletic ability. Port Bask was also considered to be one of the best producing sons of the two-time National Champion and Sire of Significance, *Bask++ . Others in her pedigree are Cal-O-Bask a National Champion producer, the Polish import and Aristocrat Mare (6 champions)*Portulaka, also dam of two Aristocrat daughters and National Champion Producers. The National Champion Producer, Aarief, Shirika an Aristocrat Mare with 5 champions, and the National Champion Producer & Aristocrat Mare (7 champions), Susecion....Just to name a few!

Red Sonia is a sweet & beautiful mare with a lovely trot, exquisite neck & throat latch. This little redhead is one of the kindest horses we have ever owned. Not a tall mare at 14.2hh, but well built with powerful hind quarters, great legs, and a pair of very large, and beautiful eyes. With a large blaze and 3 whites (plus a small belly spot) she is quite the flashy lady.
Prior to our purchase, she had foals by Magnum Psyche and Thee Desperado.
We will be getting "Lucy" back out in the show ring soon. She is also rebred to Echlectic for a 2005 foal, we love this years foal so much...we want a repeat.
