Whisperwind does not sell puppies via the internet.  However, every effort will be made to respond to any inquiries regarding our dogs or flat-coated retrievers in general and are happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the breed. We believe dog ownership is a serious commitment and should be undertaken only after thorough and complete consideration of your ability to properly care for a dog or puppy. We are happy to refer you to breeder in your area but urge those committed individuals who think they might enjoy living with a flat-coated retriever to contact FCRSA rescue and consider adopting a homeless flat-coat. Waylynn

It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Waylynn on 2/25/99.

In 1996, Ch SR U-AGI Whisper Wind's Always Harmony UD TD SH OA WCX TDI Can CD WCI became the first liver flat-coated retriever bitch EVER to be eligible for the FCRSA Hall of Fame. Inducted in 1997, and always owner trained and handled by Melody Daniels, Waylynn has not just earned titles in every available area of AKC competition, she has EXCELLED in all those areas, earning placements in obedience, Agility, and getting a JAM in unsteady singles at the Atlanta Specialty.
In the words of her owner, "A good dog can't be a bad color."
As Waylynn's breeder, I couldn't be more proud of her, or more grateful to Melody for making the most of a very special dog!
