The IGI database shows a Josef Ignaz Franz Beschorner with parents Lorenz Beschorner and Elisabeth Veit born on 27 Oct. 1803 in Lichtenwalde, Habelschwerdt, Silesia (FHL IGI film 1396018 and 1181502). The father's name is probably a misspelling of Laurenz. From 1803 to 1821 is a long stretch of time for one mother to bear children. Lorenz was from Lichtenwalde; Elisabeth was from Wölfelsdorf.

The IGI Database has a Marianna Elisabeth Beschorner who was born 27 May 1821 in Wölfelsdorf, Silesia, Prussia. Her parents were Laurenz Beschorner and Elisabeth Veithin. (LDS film No. 1760779 - individual record). "Veitin" is a Latinized form of the surname "Veit" for a female. A living relative told me that a Veit family was related to Wilhelm Winge.and some of them may have immigrated about the same time. I need to examine more records to determine the extent of the relationship and to document this verbal information.

There was an earlier Laurenz Beschorner who was baptized on 22 Aug. 1650 at the catholic church in Lichtenwalde, Habelschwerdt, Schlesien, Prussia. His parents were Peter Beschorner and Salomena (née ?) (FHL film 1181502). Perhaps this Laurenz was a great-grandfather or other ancestor of our Laurenz.

There was also a Marianna Beschorner of Mittelwalde, Silesia who married Alois Reinsch and had a son Wilhelm Reinsch on 27 Sep. 1850.
