The given name "Maria"
The *asterisk marks my direct-line ancestors. The (-5G), etc., after the names indicates the number of generations before Erven Thoma.
Maria Albert was the first wife of Joseph Isele* (-5G). Marriage (17 Sept. 1818) record is on LDS film #1046727. Evidently she died before he remarried in Feb. 1821 to Magdalena Haefele (-5G). Although Joseph's daughter Maria Isele* (-4G) was born in 1820, it is not yet determined whether Maria Albert or Joseph's second wife was the mother. The possibility of the latter is supported by the fact that the second wife, Magdalena Haefele appears on the marriage record of Maria Isele, although Magdalena was not Joseph's wife until Feb. 1821.
There is a record of a Maria Albert's death on 28 Oct. 1820 in Brenden (LDS film #1046727)
