We are a non-profit, non-sectarian and non-partisan organization. The membership is composed of former crewmembers, of any rank or grade from both the Navy and the Marine Corps, their wives, children and grandchildren. Our objective and purpose is to strive to encourage patriotism, loyalty and devotion to God, country and family. We are also dedicated to perpetuating the role played by our ship, and other members of the Amphibious Force of the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
