BIOGRAPHY
A native of Italy, Chiara received her early ballet training in Paris (France) at
the Ecole Internationale des Arts by Paris Opera Teachers Mme Tatiana Gramtzeva and Mr. Serge Peretti, by Bolshoi Ballet Teachers Mme Ninel Kurgapkina, Rudolf Nureyev, Mme Maya Plissetskaya and by NYCB Teachers Mr. George Balanchine, Mme Alexandra Danilova in New York.
As a principal dancer, Chiara performed repertory roles in Opera Houses, Ballet galas and International Festivals in Italy, France, Belgium, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, The U.S.A.
giving over 200 outstanding performances before an accident ended her performing career.
In academic education Chiara holds a Bachelor degree for College Education in "International Literature",
a Master in "Performing Arts", and a Ph.D. in "Pathology of Ballet".
Chiara served as director for The Foreign Department of Master in Ballet of "Universita' degli Studi di Danza" in Italy before to join, as artistic director and choreographer, the company Balletto Regionale di Mantova where she worked until she decided to follow her husband
In New York City Chiara served as a ballet coach at City Center, ballet mistress at Carnegie Hall
and at The Saratoga Spring's Festival for Dance Alliance.
Chiara's choreography have been performed in major Theaters and Opera Houses, all over Europe and in The United States, broadcasted on Televisions such as RAI, BBC, ABC and FOX and originally created for:
The Northeast Ballet Company, The Het National Ballet of Holland, The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania, The National Ballet Company of Romania, The National Ballet Company of Malta,
The National Ballet Company of Hungary, the movie "I Promessi Sposi" (UK),
The Italian National Television RAI and Ater-Inscena.
Other career achievements:
Chiara directed the International opera singer competition "Premio Katia Ricciarelli"
in Italian-Albanian-Hungarian National Opera Houses (1989-1996),
directed and choreographed the musical "E Allora Luigi?"
realized for The Rome Vatican to honor the centenary of Saint Luigi Gonzaga (1991).
As an Artist in Education, Chiara served as a panelist the Regions of
Lombardia, Lazio, Puglia (Italy), from 1986 to 1994.
Among the awards Chiara received are:
Best Choreography in Malta Festival by The London Times (1991),
Best Choreography in Fiuggi Europa Platea (1995),
Best Choreography in Manfredonia Awards (1996 & 1997).
