My name is Vicki Pettit, I am an injured worker from California. I remember when it was good to be a republican. We were proud Americans that worked hard for a good living.
I now reside in the Pacific Northwest, north of Seattle, I have been told that I shouldn't have left California, I am unable to receive vocational rehabilitation, because I moved to Washington.
The insurance company, which is now represented by California Insurance Guaranty Association, CIGA, has changed third party administrators 3 times in 9 years and every time the servicing is moved I lose more court ordered medical coverage.
I have been in the workers' compensation system for well over 9 years. I was injured by a repetitive motion injury and subsequently laid off by an insurance company in Sacramento.
I know that the workers' compensation systems of the United States are in need of reform. Injured workers' across the nation need to organize and show corporate bullies that they trained us well, we may be down on physical endurance, but we will not quit fighting for fellow injured workers and our collective basic civil rights.
Please read the testimonials and review the links on our site.
It is important to know what you are up against in the Workers' Compensation system. We have links to support teams across the country.
