Yosemite West

Accommodations include freshly-made beds (many oversized), one or more baths, complete equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, color TVs with VHS players, outside decks, and thermostatically-controlled heat. Most have wood-burning fireplaces (firewood not included). In winter, "Your Yosemite Home" is already warm on arrival. Select from a variety of accommodations offered by Yosemite West Cottages, Yosemite West Lodging, Yosemite West Mountain Homes, Yosemite West Vacation Homes, and Yosemite West Vacation Rentals.

Yosemite West accommodations are centrally located to the main areas of YosemiteNational Park. To the north is magnificent Yosemite Valley and visitor services in Yosemite Village. Wawona and the majestic Mariposa Grove of Big Trees are to the south. Studios and Apartments

For two people:
Complete units with queen bed, sitting area, apartment-size kitchen, and private bath!
Rates for two people range from $85 to $115 per night plus tax. Mid- to upper-range include fireplaces.

Motel-size rooms for three and four people: Complete units with queen wall bed, sofa or day bed, sitting area, apartment-size kitchen, bath with shower/tub combination, all with fireplace. Rates from $99 to $125 per night plus tax.

Townhomes and Duplexes

Semi-detached units and duplexes (two units in a single building) are available, both in apartment-size units and full-size units with one, two, or three bedrooms. Fully-furnished and equipped, these give you a greater sense of privacy than multi-unit buildings and at a lower cost than single units.

Apartment-size duplexes for two people range from $85 to $105 per night, plus tax.

One-bedroom duplexes for two people run from $130 to $175 per night, plus tax.
Two-bedroom duplexes for four people run from $145 to $195 per night, plus tax.
Three-bedroom duplexes for six people run from $165 to $235 per night, plus tax.

Individual Cottages, Vacation Homes, and Mountain Homes

Enjoy the privacy of your own separate cottage or home in a mountain forest setting. Perfect for a couple or a family--various sizes are available to meet your needs, from one to three bedrooms, with one to 2 1/2 baths. All include living room, dining area, and full-size kitchen, fully equipped. All have either a fireplace or a wood-burning stove for a fireplace effect in the living room, as well as color TV with VCP. Heat is thermostatically controlled.

Nightly rates (plus tax) are:

Two people $145 to $205

Four people $160 to $235

Six people $185 to $265

Eight people $225 to $325

All you need to bring are the people, food, and firewood--if you'd like to have a fire. We recommend you include your camera and lots of film, your video camera and tapes, plus flashlights for night walks.

The Fine Print

Call Yosemite West Reservations (559) 642-2211 weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time for availability and rates. Prepaid advance reservations are required. Deposits must be received within 7 days of booking. Final payment due 30 days prior to arrival (longer for holidays); no refunds thereafter. Refundable cleaning/damage deposit. Reservation changes/cancellations subject to fees and/or forfeitures. Only written cancellation notices are recognized. Trip Cancellation Insurance is recommended. Commission is paid to recognized travel agents.

Check in: 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Departure by 11 a.m. No unregistered guests. No pets. No motorhomes/campers. No sleeping bags. Firewood not included in rates. No refunds after check-in for any reason. Not responsible for snow, road, weather, and/or utilities.

Rates are based on specific unit and number of people. Transient Occupancy Tax is in addition to above rates. Special off-season rates are available, non-holiday, for Sunday through Thursday nights January through March and again from mid-October to mid-December.
