About me:
I am a Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator here in my native Las Vegas. My goal is to help families create a joyful birth experience. I have been serving families in this capacity for the last 2 1/2 years. I am a member of both DONA and Birthworks, and have attended intense workshops and done intense workshops on many things regarding childbirth. I am married with two beautiful boys ages 6 and 3.

Childbirth Classes
BORNE offers prenatal education for expecting families who want to be involved in creating their own birth experience. The 8 week series includes the following:
Nutrition & Exercise
Consumerism & Decision Making
Basic Anatomy & Physiology
Staying Healthy & Low Risk
Relaxation, Comfort Measures, & Labor Skills
Physical & Emotional preparation for labor & delivery
Overcoming Fears & Negative Beliefs
Preparation for Labor Supporter (s)
Birth Planning, Communication & Advocacy with the Birth Team
The Process of Birth
Pain Relief Options
Unexpected Outcomes & Complications
Immediate Postpartum
Breastfeeding
Care of the Newborn
Vaccination, circumcision, etc.
Video Presentations
Birth Doula Services:
Two 1-hour prenatal visits to get to know each other and clarify your goals for birth.
Assistance with a written birth plan.
24 hour on call services 2 weeks prior to the due date until the baby arrives.
Unlimited time in labor, providing physical, emotional, and informational support to the birthing woman/couple.
Use of Comfort measures, aromatherapy and massage
If requested, photography and video of the birth.
Breastfeeding support
Written birth story
Postpartum support via telephone
