About Jane Greimann

A lifelong Iowan and a resident of Ames for more than 25 years, Jane Greimann will be a voice for reason and caring in the Iowa House of Representatives.

An educator, Jane is a graduate of Iowa State University.  She spent 16 years as a middle school teacher before becoming a supervisor for ISU's student teacher program.

A community volunteer, Jane spends much time working for local interests.  She was member of the board of the League of Women Voters,  the Ames Public Art Commission, the Youth and Shelter Services Prevention and Education Committee, and is an elder in her church.

As wife of Lowell, mother of Chad, Blair and Amy and grandmother of two, Jane wants to encourage employment and career opportunities for young people in Iowa.

She has served on the board for the League of Women Voters, the Ames Public Art Commission and the Youth and Social Services Prevention and Education Committee and as an elder in Collegiate Presyterian Church.

Currently she is serving on MICA (Mid Iowa Community Action) board and on the HAWK-I (Healthy and Well Kids in Iowa) board.
