The Reelin is a 41' Hatteras Sportfishing Yacht. Hatteras
Yachts are designed to handle the blue waters of Outer Banks of North
Carolina, the "Grave Yard of the Atlantic".
Her solid fiberglass hull is built for the serious fisherman or woman. She
was originally built in 1965 in New
Bern, North Carolina.
She was fully refurbished about ten years ago and is powered by twin 370 HP
turbo diesels providing for a honest 18 knot cruise
speed. Away from the dock the she is equipped with a 4KW diesel generator to
run all her household power loads. Her large salon allows our customers to
relax in heated comfort, with amenities such as TV/VCR/DVD and a full
AM/FM/CD stereo system. She has a full galley including microwave along with
a private head with shower facilities. At the dockside she is also equipped
to receive satellite TV at the dock. The Reelin is fully equipped with all
the required Coast Guard safety equipment including a SOLAS "B"
life raft and 406 EPIRB.
