Wow! I cannot say enough about how Yahoo Groups (previously know as eGroups) helped me when I was going through the process of certifying. (Yahoo Groups is an example of a Listserv. Yahoo Groups is a free e-mail group service that allows you to easily create and join e-mail groups. E-mail groups offer a convenient way to connect with others who share the same interests and ideas.) These Yahoo Groups are made up of teachers who have already completed the certification process or who are in the process of completing National Boards. (The National Board Yahoo Groups are just a small portion of the e-mail groups available at Yahoo Groups.) Below you will find the links to the specific Yahoo Groups sites where you can join the National Board Yahoo Group of your choice. Just click on the Yahoo Group you are interested in joining. (Note: Unless you are interested in receiving a TON of e-mail messages, especially in Early and Middle Childhood Yahoo Groups, you might want to select the "digest" option. This sends the daily e-mail messages as just one e-mail, up to 25 messages, instead of separately.)
