The Skating Edge is a group of dedicated, hard working, enthusiastic and competitive young ladies who are very passionate about their sport. There is a lot of team comraderie among the Skating Edge. We practice every Monday night at the University Of Delaware. We have an hour of off ice, followed by 2 hours of on ice a week. Although we have little practice time compared to some other teams, we definetly make the best of what we have and are pleased with the results of all our hard work. This year, we placed third at Easterns and look foward to skating at nationals in Tampa. Our short program for this year is to the music of The Squirrel Nut Zippers, a kind of Ska/Swing music band. Our long program is to the music of the Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, a new age swing group. Both programs are a lot of fun to skate.
