Summary: There's a new worker at the Jam Pony and there's something weird about her.
Spoilers/Timeframe: Me as an X6 named Nick James
Rating: PG
At the Jam Pony Alec is putting his jacket into his locker then Max slams the locker door on his hand.
Alec: Ahhhhh! What the hell Max!
Max: I have to talk to you.
Alec: (Max walks away) What a bitch.
Alec walks away from the lockers and goes over to Max who's holding the Jam Pony newspaper.
Alec: All right Max! What is it?
Max: What's this?
Max shows Alec a picture of her in her panties from the Jam Pony newspaper.
Alec: It's you in your panties. So what?
Max: How could you do this to me?
Alec: You think I took that photo?
Max: Who else would?
Alec: Him. (Points at the photographer of the Jam Pony newspaper)
Max: That's it!
Alec: What are you gonna do?
Max: I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind!
Alec: Oh boy. That's not good. (Max walks over to the guy with the camera)
Max: Oh Jimmy?
Jimmy: Yes Max?
Max: Can I have a word with you? Alone!
Jimmy: Sure!
Max grabs Jimmy and pulls him over to the lockers then you hear screaming and something break.
Jimmy: Ahhhhh!
Max: Don't you ever do that again!
Max walks away from behind the lockers then Normal comes from behind the desk and stands in the middle of the room.
Normal: All right people. Listen up! (A girl walks into the Jam Pony) This is our new Jam Pony package deliver and I want you to make her feel right at home. All right people back to work! Lets go! Bip!
Sketchy: (To Alec) She's a hottie.
Alec: That she is my friend. That she is.
The new worker goes over to the desk where Normal is handing out packages to the other workers.
Girl: Normal?
Normal: (Hands the new girl a package) Lets go! Get to work!
Girl: But? (Normal walks away to go yell at some workers for standing around doing nothing) I don't know how to deliver packages!
Alec and Sketchy are watching the new girl standing there unsure what to do while Normal was yelling at everyone.
Sketchy: Look at her...
Alec: standing there helpless...
Sketchy: and unsure what to do.
Alec: I know!
Sketchy: What?
Alec walks away from Sketchy and walks over to the new girl whose still holding the package Normal handed her.
Alec: Hi!
Girl: Hey! Can you help me?
Alec: Sure! What do you need?
Girl: Can you teach me how to deliver packages?
Alec: First time I'm guessing.
Girl: Yeah.
Alec: (Extends his hand to the new worker) By the way, I'm Alec!
Girl: (Shakes Alec's hand) I'm Nick!
Alec: (Heading out the door with Nick) So where did you work before coming here?
Nick: You don't wanna know.
Alec: Ok. Later that night at Logan's apartment Max is talking to Logan about some mission he has for Max then Logan's phone rings and he picks it up.
Logan: Hello?
Alec: Hey Logan! It's Alec! Is Max around?
Logan: Yeah. Hold on. (Hands the phone to Max)
Max: What is it Alec?
Alec: Are you watching the news?
Max: No. Why?
Alec: You should be.
Max: Fine. Hold on. (Turns the tv onto the news channel)
Alec: Is it unbelievable or what?
Max: Yeah.
Max watches the news on Logan's tv then he turns to watch it too. On the tv there's a news reporter talking then the tv shows a picture of a guy with teeth marks on his neck.
News reporter: It seems that earlier here tonight some kinda wolf or creature attacked this young man Jimmy David at the age of 21. Jimmy David was also a worker of the package delivery service the Jam Pony. We have some more news coming up next. Stay tuned.
Max drops the phone and it hits the floor as she stood there in shock of what she just saw on the news.
Logan: Max? Are you ok?
Max: I'm fine.
Max walks out the door then later she's at Crash drinking with Original Cindy, Alec, and Sketchy.
Max: I can't believe it!
Original Cindy: I know someone we work with.
Alec: Things can't get any weirder.
Sketchy: Don't say that!
Alec: Why not?
Original Cindy: Don't you know the saying?
Alec: What saying?
Sketchy: Every time someone says things can't get any weirder, things get weirder.
Original Cindy: Too late.
Alec: Why?
Original Cindy: Cause things just got weirder. (Jimmy walks over)
Jimmy: Hey guys!
Max: Jimmy? I thought you were
Jimmy: I'm not. Listen Max; can I have a word with you?
Max: About what?
Jimmy: About what happened at work today.
Max: Ok.
Max and Jimmy walk outside then Jimmy closes the door of Crash and walks over to Max.
Max: So what about today?
Max turns around to face Jimmy whose eyes are glowing red then he smiles showing his fangs.
Jimmy: Alone at last!
Max: What happened to you?
Jimmy: The best thing in this world. I won't bite, hard. Now Maxie, it's gonna hurt a little but after awhile you won't feel a thing.
Max: You're the one whose gonna feel it!
Jimmy: Huh?
Max kicks Jimmy in the head then she punches him in the stomach. Jimmy gets up, charges at Max, tackles her to the ground, and tries to bite her then someone kicks him off of Max. Max gets up and sees Nick beating the shit out of Jimmy then she snaps his neck and he falls to the ground.
Alec: (Comes out yelling) What's going on?
Max: Nick kicked Jimmy ass.
Alec: What?
Nick: (Walks over to Max) Are you ok?
Max: Yeah but how did you do that?
Nick: Never mind! You never saw me do that! (Runs away)
Alec: What's wrong with her?
Max: I don't know.
The next day at the Jam Pony Nick walks in and goes over to her locker then Max walks up to her.
Max: Hi Nick.
Nick: Hi.
Max: I never thanked you for saving me.
Nick: It's ok.
Max: Thanks.
Nick: Your welcome.
Max: I wanna know how?
Nick: How what?
Max: How you did that?
Nick: I can't tell you.
Max: Why?
Nick: I...uh...have to go!
Nick closes her locker then she leaves. Max watches her go then Alec walks over to her.
Alec: What's up?
Max: Nothing.
Alec: Is everything ok Max?
Max: Yeah but
Alec: But?
Max: I don't know, there's just something about her.
Alec: I know what you mean.
Max: I wish I knew what she's hiding from us.
Later that night at White's hideout Nick enters White's office where White is waiting for her.
Nick: Sir you wanted to see me?
White: Yes I did.
Nick: What for?
White: I planted a bomb in Eyes Only's car and I want you to be the one to blow it up.
Nick: Yes sir.
White: If you don't do it in time we have a backup to do it for you.
Nick: Ok sir.
White: Do you understand your assignment 462?
Nick: Yes sir.
White: Good. Don't disappoint me.
Nick: I won't.
White: Good. You're excused.
Nick: Thank you sir.
Nick leaves White's office and heads towards Logan's apartment where Logan is getting into his car to go to a party. Nick is in a car behind Logan's car following him. They get to the highway then Nick hits Logan's car with her's then Logan stops driving and gets out of his car.
Logan: Hey!
Nick: What? Did I hurt your car?
Logan: You just destroyed the back of it!
Nick: Oh well!
Logan: That's coming out of your incoherence buddy!
Nick: Really?
Logan: Yeah!
Nick: No it's not.
Logan: What?
Nick gets out of her car, goes over to Logan, and hits him in the face then he falls to the ground. Nick turns Logan over, takes his car keys, gets into Logan's car, and drives away. Awhile-later cops are chasing after Nick in Logan's speeding car.
Nick: (Looks in the review mirror) Oh great! All I'm doing is saving the guy.
Nick speeds up a little more then she looks at the clock that's connected to the bomb in the back seat of the car.
Nick: Only 1 minute left! Dam!
Nick keeps speeding then she gets to the bridge with only 5 seconds left on the clock. Nick drives off the bridge and goes flying through the air then she jumps out of the car and dives into the water then the car explodes into flames. Logan gets out of one of the cop cars and watches his car fall down into the water in flames.
Logan: My car!
First Cop: Don't worry sir we'll get you home safely.
Logan: My car!
Later on that night at Max's apartment Max, Original Cindy, Alec, and Sketchy are watching a movie then a news report comes on.
Original Cindy: I hate when news report interrupt movies!
Alec: Your not alone.
News Reporter: Earlier on tonight a young man's car was high jacked then it was driving off a bridge. Sir you have anything to say?
Logan: Yes I do.
Max: (Looks at the tv) Logan?
Alec: (Throws down the bowl of popcorn) I never get to be on tv!
Logan: (On tv) I just wanna say to the highjacker thank you.
News Reporter: Thank you?
Logan: Yeah. Whoever it was knew someone planted a bomb in my car so they saved my life when they highjacked my car.
News Reporter: Ok. That's all we have for you tonight. Thank you and goodnight.
Alec: (Shuts off the tv) Whoever that was is a hero.
Sketchy: Yeah a dead hero.
Max: I hope whoever it was is ok.
Original Cindy: Me too Boo.
The next day at the Jam Pony Alec walks over to Sketchy, Original Cindy, and Max who's standing at the lockers talking.
Alec: Have you guys seen Nick lately?
Sketchy: Not since yesterday at work.
Alec: That's odd!
Max: What?
Alec: I tried calling her cell phone 5 times yesterday and all I got was the phone line is busy.
Original Cindy: You don't think she had to do anything with what we saw last night on the news. Do you?
Alec: I don't know.
Sketchy: She's a mystery.
Max: Your telling me.
Alec: You know I've been wanting to…
Before Alec could finish his sentence Nick walked in with a grin spread across her face as she walked over to the desk then it faded.
Nick: (In a serious voice) Normal?
Normal: Yes?
Nick: I'm sorry for being late it won't happened again.
Normal: Don't worry about it.
Nick: Really?
Normal: Really.
Nick: Thanks!
Nick walks over to her locker to put something away then Alec and the others walked over to her.
Original Cindy: What's up Boo?
Nick: Nothing much.
Sketchy: Did you catch what was on the news last night?
Nick: Nah! I don't watch the news.
Sketchy: Oh.
Max: What's been happening?
Nick: Nothing really.
Alec: What happened to your hand?
Nick: (Looks down at her banged hand) I cut my hand with a knife while I was making a salad. I'm ok.
Alec: Oh.
Max: Nick?
Nick: Yeah.
Max: How come every time something weird happens you're never around?
Nick: What can I say? Things happen at odd times.
Max: Like Logan's car being highjacked!
Nick: He got high jacked?
Sketchy: Yeah! He was thankful about whoever did it.
Nick: The guy that ordered it to happen sure isn't gonna be happy.
Max: What do you mean? What guy?
Nick: Nothing! No guy!
Alec: Is everything ok?
Nick: Sure! I'm ok all the time.
Sketchy: Yeah right!
Nick: What? Do you think I have something to do with Logan's car being high jacked?
Sketchy: No. I didn't say that. I meant to say…
Original Cindy: What Sketch is trying to say is why do you seem so jumpy when we ask you a question?
Nick: I'm not jumpy! (Walks away)
Alec: Something's up with her and I'm gonna find out.
Max: Be careful.
Alec: (Smiles) I will.
Later that night Nick is riding down the street on her motorcycle while Alec followed her on his motorcycle. Nick stops in front of a building and goes inside. Alec stops awhile after her and goes inside too. Inside Alec spots Nick talking to a guy wearing a suit.
Nick: What does he want?
Otto: I think he's mad because you messed up his plain to get rid of Eyes Only.
Nick: I'll talk to him about it!
Otto: Ok. He's in his office.
Nick: I know.
Nick walks away then Alec nocks out Otto and watches Nick from the doorway as she talks to White about the mess up.
White: Sit-down.
Nick: No thanks. I'll stand.
White: If you insist.
Nick: What did you wanna talk to me about?
White: I wanna know why you saved Eyes Only's life?
Nick: I think it would be too soon to get rid of him that way.
White: Oh really? Ok then. What do you insist we do?
Nick: I think we should get rid of him the old fashion way.
White: What would that be?
Nick: By strength and power.
White: I think X5 493 would of been proud of you.
Nick: Really? Why is that?
White: Your following his dream.
Nick: What dream is that sir?
White: To terminate Eyes Only. Get the job done tonight!
Nick: Yes sir!
White: Do I make myself clear?
Nick: Yes sir!
White: Good. Good luck 462!
Nick: Thank you sir.
Alec hides when he sees Nick walkout of White's office. Nick goes outside, hops on her motorcycle, and rides away. Alec watches Nick go then he rides away to go to Max's apartment. Alec reaches Max's apartment in time to see Max getting on her motorcycle.
Alec: (Yells) Max!
Max: Alec? What do you want?
Alec: Where are you going?
Max: To Logan's! Why?
Alec: Then we better get there fast!
Max: Why? Is Logan ok?
Alec: He won't be if we don't get there on time!
Max: What's going on?
Alec: I'll explain when we get there!
Max and Alec start to ride away then they get to the highway and crash into another motorcycle from speeding.
Max: That's it!
Alec: What now?
Max: I gonna kick that person's ass!
Alec: Were the ones that hurt them!
Max: Who cares!
Alec: I do!
Max walks over to the person that's laying on the ground then the person gets up and turns around.
Max: Nick?
Nick: Max.
Max: I didn't know it was you!
Nick: Well it is.
Alec: (Walks over) Nick?
Nick: Hi Alec.
Alec: I saw you talking to White.
Max: What?
Nick: So you figured out my secret?
Max: You work for White? You trader!
Nick: No! I'm White's trader.
Alec: What do you mean?
Nick: White can go to hell!
Max: I'm really confused.
Nick: The only reason I'm working for him is so he won't kill me.
Alec: But you're stronger than him.
Nick: I know. I'm gonna help you guys instead.
Max: Why?
Nick: He killed my brother.
Max: I'm sorry.
Nick: It's ok.
Alec: What about Logan?
Nick: I forgot! Max Logan is in serious trouble.
Max: What do you mean?
Nick: White is gonna have Logan terminated.
Alec: (To Max) That's what I've been trying to tell you.
Max: We have to do something.
Nick: And quick!
Max, Nick, and Alec ride away and go to Logan's apartment. When they get there they run up to his apartment and see that his apartment has been torn apart.
Nick: White has already been here.
Max: Lets go!
They leave Logan's apartment and ride away then later they stop at a building where guards are guarding the outside.
Nick: (Walks over to a guard) James let me in!
James: Sorry White said not even your aloud in!
Nick: What?
James: Sorry!
Nick: No. I'm sorry.
James: What?
Nick punches James in the face then he falls to the ground. Nick signals Max and Alec to follow her.
Alec: Now what?
Nick: We fight!
Max: Works for me.
They start fighting the other guards that are guarding the entrance to get to Logan then they go inside.
Max: What now?
Nick: We go to White's office.
Alec: Why is that a good place to go?
Nick: Yeah. He's always there.
Max: Lets go!
They sneak through the building and get to White's office then they bust right through the door.
White: So nice to see you 462! And you too 452!
Max: Where is he?
White: Who? Eyes Only?
Max: What did you do to him?
White: Nothing. Yet!
Nick: White give up! It's over!
White: Is it?
Nick: What?
White presses a button and drops a cage on Nick and Alec then some guards grab onto Max.
White: Now it's over!
Alec: What are you gonna do to us?
White: Well 494 I'm gonna feed you and 462 to the nomlies and then I'm gonna discuss business with 452.
Alec: Your sick!
White: I'm sure you learned about the nomlies from your brother 493.
Alec: Leave my brother outta this!
White: He's basically in it.
Nick: (Her and Alec both look at White) What is that suppose to mean?
White: This is what it means.
White snaps his fingers then a guy walks out from another room and walks over to the cage where Alec and Nick are trapped.
Nick: Ben?
Ben: It's so nice to see you again. You too Alec!
Alec: (To Nick) You know my brother?
Nick: We were breeding partners back at Manticore.
Ben: (To Alec) Ooooo! Doesn't it hurt?
Alec: Shut up!
Nick: Nothing happened!
Ben: Whatever you say.
Max: (To White) What do you want with us?
White: I wanna know where my son is?
Max: It's too late.
White: What do you mean it's too late?
Max: He died a month ago in a car accident.
White: (A tear falls down his cheek) Kill them!
White leaves the room then a guard grabs a gun and walks towards Max while Ben watched.
Guard: Your gonna be the first to die!
Ben: Yeah right!
Ben kicks the gun out of the guard's hand then he punches him and he falls to the floor.
Max: Why did you do that?
Ben: I hate White.
Max: Good.
Max and Ben start to beat up the guards while Nick and Alec we're still stuck in the cage.
Nick: Stand back!
Alec: Why?
Nick: I have a bomb!
Alec: Hikes!
Alec runs over to the other side of the cage with Nick then she blows up the cage. The pressure from the explosion sends Nick and Alec flying through the air.
Alec: Ahhhhh!
Nick lands on Ben whose finished fighting the guards then Alec hits his crotch and falls on the floor.
Ben: That's gotta hurt.
Alec: (Gasping for air) It dose hurt.
The next day at the Jam Pony Alec, Max, and Nick walk in with cuts and bruises on their face and arms.
Normal: What happened to you guys?
Alec: Don't ask.
The three of them walk over to the lockers and sit-down on the bench then Original Cindy and Sketchy walked over.
Original Cindy: What happened to my Boos?
Max: It's a long story.
Sketchy: It looks like a long story.
Max: (To Sketchy) Shut up!
Later that night at the Space Needle Alec sat down and looked at the beer he held in his hand then his voiceover starts.
Alec: There's just something about her. Something that makes her special. She's different in a way. She's stronger than us and there's something she has that just makes me smile. It was also weird to see my brother Ben. You know when people say don't say that saying cause then it'll lead to things getting weirder? Forget the saying cause I already know things are gonna get weirder and I can't do anything about it.
