Hi! Thanks for stopping by to find out more about me. I am very sensitive, creative, playful and emotional with a great sense of humor. I am very open and non-judgmental in all areas of my life. I stick firmly to my own convictions but am open to the convictions of others.
I prefer intelligent conversation on all subjects; idle chatter is not my forte; however, I LOVE to laugh and am able to laugh at myself with no problem (and with MY life, I've HAD to learn to laugh!) People say that I am a good "counselor" and I have found that I really enjoy helping people work through their problems in all areas of their lives. I am very honest (sometimes too honest) with a great deal of integrity and would desire those qualities in my mate as well.
I have a BA in Liberal Studies, minors in English and Sociology, AA degree in Music, elementary teaching credential, am licensed in personal lines insurance and have my EMT certification. I used to work full-time as an EMT-tech at a local ER. I play the piano, sing and compose music. I used to teach piano, voice and song/lyric writing as a home-based business.
I am an account manager for an independent insurance agency and enjoy the insurance business. I am interested in anything metaphysical; however I am very well-grounded--no "air-head" here!
I am a single-parent of a challenging daughter, 15. I also have identical twin sons, 24. My experiences in the teaching, medical and parenting fields have brought me to the conclusion that kids need a more "spiritually-based" education.

My Interests
I love movies, reading, intelligent conversation, fine dining. I would like to become more active and play some raquetball or tennis. It's difficult to make the time when one is busy with "life!" But I hope to do that in the near future.
I was a music composition major for a short time and therefore love playing the piano, singing and playing the flute. I am always open to opportunities to do any of these things. I used to teach piano, voice and lyric writing as a home-based business. Anyone looking for a good lyric review is welcome to e-mail me. However, expect a very honest opinion with extremely constructive criticism! : )
