Family

From those we know and those we have heard of

and those we only think we know.

A family tree brings your line together but genealogy
will prove they all belong together.

Some documents are found to prove parts of the family tree
but there are still many questions, especially those
well known names with unknown wives;
such as why didn't the family remember the name
of their own mother or grandmother?

Often an indian bride was given a Christian name.

The man was always remembered; many even included
a middle name or initial - Their siblings and their parents
were known and recorded.........so

why was the woman "unknown"
unless they had something to hide.....

Focus on the females in your family tree, they have so much
to tell.
