An Entertainment Distribution Consulting Firm Compensation Structure
AMA can be categorized as having
three different personalities. One as a Consulting Firm, where communication is
limited to the producers, assisting them preparing and developing the package
up to being ready to be funded and also offers to manage the contracts and
distribution of the projects once they are released. The second is as a
Financing Finder (Broker), that once the project package is ready to be
presented to investors (either by using AMA Consulting Services or not), AMA
will represent the producers in front of its financing sources. And the third
one is as a Sales Agent, that when the project has matured enough (already
packaged, in production or already produced) AMA will represent the project in
front of Domestic, International and Local Foreign Distributors. For these services,
AMA has the following compensation structures.
Consulting Services To be compensated for our consulting services we have the following options: 1. Hourly Fee: $50/Hour with a minimum of a $500 of professional advance retainer. 2. Monthly Flat Fee: A minimum of $1,000/Month depending on amount of services contracted and size of the project/company, payable in advance. 3 Months minimum contract. 3. Per Project Fees: For those producers that only require a limited amount of services we have created the following Per Project Fees; a. Project Critical Path: $250 b. Ultimate Revenue Forecast: $750-$1,500 depending on project size. c. Company Business Plan: $1,000-$5,000 depending on company size. These fees include as many Ultimate Revenue Forecasts needed to create the Estimated Financial Statements. AMA, in very few and selected cases, is willing to defer or accept equity participation in exchange of a portion of its consulting services compensation fees. Please make note that AMA, does not work on a spec basis and that a minimum advance monetary compensation is required for its Consulting Services. Financing Finder (Broker)
Services AMA in exchange of representing the producers in front of its financing sources, requires a 5% “Finder Fee” of the total amount of monies brought into the project. These fees are only payable upon performance and no advance for these services is required. Out-of-pocket expenses are to be reimbursed. AMA in exchange of positioning the project for distribution, requires a 15% “Sales Agent Fee” of the total amount of any licensing agreement negotiated in behalf of its clients. These fees are only payable upon performance and no advance for these services is required. Out-of-pocket expenses are to be reimbursed. Additional
