Kanon: Synopsis---Volume 1
Kanon is a girl who grew up in Mongolia, she is very talented in playing the violin. She is an illegitimate child, so in order to search for her father, she goes back to Japan with Tendou----a composer who came to Mongolia to get some inspiration for his music.
Kanon only knows that her father is a musician. In order to have a chance to meet her father, she becomes a violinist.
Tendou has promised Kanon's mother to take care of Kanon, but since he lost the music contest to Mikami, he has to leave Japan and go to the United States to seek for higher education on music. So Kanon is arranged to stay in Mikami's music academy. She is very sad because Tendou has left her, also she doesn't obey Mikami, she is very resistant to Mikami.
One day Kanon's aunt----Yumiko----comes by to see Kanon. She showed Kanon the pictures of three musicians, who might be a possibility of Kanon's father....
