Kanon: Synopsis---Volume 5
Kanon finds out Kent is her father, she is overjoyed. Unfortunately, Kent has heart disease, and he knows he will not live long. He wants to have a concert with Kanon before his death, but on the night of their concert, he suddenly passed away because of heart attack.
Filled with sorrow, Kanon goes to her father's hometown----New York----with Mikami to attend his funeral. When Kanon plays the music that her mother taught her for Kent, Mikami seems to recognize the music.
Now Kanon is all alone, without father and mother. Her heart is filled with grief and loneliness, and it is Mikami who can comfort her at this time. She finally has relation (you know...) with Mikami, the one that she truly loves.
On the other hand, before Kent died, he wrote a note to Kanon. The note says that he is not Kanon's real father, it is someone else. Tendou found the note on the table, and now he realized that Mikami is Kanon's real father....
