Clearwater Beach, Florida
Larry and Kim selected our island ceremony and sunset cruise for their Florida wedding. They arranged the event in just a few minutes by phone from their home in Atlanta. They were accompanied by Kim's two children, Eric and Elaine.
They boarded our 30 foot party boat "Happy Dolphin" on the beach at Leverock's waterfront restaurant. As they enjoyed a 15 minute ride out to Shell island, they got aquainted with Capt Fred and wedding photographer Tawni.
Kim was presented with her beautiful tropical bouquet and Tawni pinned the matching lapel flower on Larry's shirt for a few photos before the wedding.
After the boat was beached on the island and secured by the Captain, the wedding party stepped off onto the natural beautiful beach of Shell island. They had the island completely to themselves.
As the wedding music played in the background and the Gulf breeze gently swept over the island, everyone joined Capt. Fred, (also Rev. Fred) for the ceremony as Tawni photographed the event.
Eric and Elaine witnessed the ceremony and assisted with the rings, holding the bouquet and furnishing the sand for the unity sand ceremony.
After many photos of the family, everyone boarded the boat for the short cruise out to the Gulf of Mexico to join the other boats for another fabulous Florida sunset and of course, more photos.
On the sightseeing ride to the Gulf the boat passed the Marriott where the family was enjoying their stay on Sand Key, a part of Clearwater Beach. After a few pictures with the hotel in the background, it was time for the cake cutting and champagne.
A delicious wedding cake was cut by the bride and groom and served to all aboard. Larry then expertly opened the champagne and he and Kim celebrated their marriage with a toast and a sweet kiss.
Another beautiful west coast sunset and as twilight darkened, Capt Fred steered the boat back to the beach where Larry, Kim, Eric and Elaine had reservations at Leverock's for a delightful waterview dinner.
