We Remember WENN fans are a hearty lot. Together we have endured

cliffhangers and cancellations. We had laughed together on chats and at

conventions. We have given each other congratulations in times of triumph

and comfort in times of sorrow. We have made lifelong friends though this TV show.

Remember WENN fans are an incredibly welcoming bunch. Not for us the

closed "clique" attitude of some fandoms. A WENN newbie isn't laughed at.

We are a diverse group of fans. In our group are men and women, some of us

are in our 50s, others are barely into our teens. We have people in our

fandom from all over the country. New Yorkers, Californians, Southerners,

New Englanders, Midwesterners etc. Some of us are fans of Remember

WENN as part of a more general hobby of Old Time Radio, nostalgia, the

World War II era or cultural history. Some of us just like to watch a fabulous,

funny, dramatic, clever, and always engaging TV show. Over the years we've

had people come and go. We've had regulars, semi-regulars, occasional drop

Oh, like all fandoms we've occasionally had our problems and squabbles.

One fan might get a bit miffed at another. But rarely is there a huge blowout

fight in WENN fandom. The years long fan feuds and power struggles of some

fandoms are alien to RW fans.The very few troublemakers we've ever had

soon realized they couldn't get our goat and left to bother someone else.

Regular IRC chats take place every Friday and Saturday night. We start about 10PM ET. Download the IRC program, then join the channel called #WENN. It's that simple!

Go to alt-tv.remember-wenn. This is a public newsgroup so it does get some spam,

Go to YahooGroups and type in Remember WENN. You'll see a list of Remember WENN Mailing Lists to join. The best attended and most popular is a list called simply WENNlist, but there are a number of other WENN related mailing lists as well.

So far we've had 3 convention weekends. We met in Pittsburgh in 1998, In Columbus in 2000 and in New York City in 2001. We always have an incredible amount of fun! Here is a link to my Remember WENN Convention Report for the New York weekend

Put simply, Remember WENN fanfiction is some of the best. We have one page quick stories and ongoing epics. We have hilarious spoofs and tearjerking dramas. We have crossovers and romances and combat stories and holiday stories. We can do 'em racy and we can do 'em sweet!
