Almond Hill is a small vineyard owned and operated by husband and wife Dennis Van Westerhuyzen and Nicole Cavier. It is located on the west side of Paso Robles and hwy 101, midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles amid 9 acres of scenic rolling hills, almond orchards, and vineyards.

Syrah
|

In June, 2000, we planted the first 2½ acres in Syrah grapes, grafted to 1103P rootstock, on a modified quadrilateral trellis system. We planted an additional 4½ acres of the same Syrah and 1 acre of Petite Syrah in June of 2004, all on the same rootstock.
We are limiting our production to 3 tons per acre to maintain a high quality fruit production. Our harvests have produced wine of outstanding character.

Welcome
The B & B is on the ground floor. It has a private entrance and an individual climate control unit.
The first room features a well equipped kitchenette with a two-burner stove top, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and a sitting area with a sliding glass door to the patio.
A love seat opens into a single bed to accomodate an extra guest if needed.
Upon arrival, guests will find complementary hors d’ oeuvres, beverages, and, with a two night stay, a bottle of local wine.

A basket filled with cereals, baked goods, and fresh fruit is brought to the room in the morning. There are juices, milk, and yogurt in the fridge. Also included are coffee and assorted teas.
