Greetings to you! My name is Leilani, and I am proud of my Native Hawaiian ancestry! Hula helps me share my Aloha (love) for the ‘aina (land) and na kupuna (ancestors) who walked before me. I have been blessed to study with greatly respected Kumu (master teachers) of Hawai‘i, and continue to be a lifelong student of Hawaiian culture.

My costuming is from Hawai'i. The ti leaves of I'ao Valley and Ke'au, Hawai'i. My performances are interspersed with the culture, language and history of the Kanaka Ma'oli (Native Hawaiians) You will hear oli (chant) and experience native percussion implements. Find yourself entranced by the hula kahiko (ancient) and graceful auana hula styles.

My Tutu (Grandma) has been dancing hula since she was a keiki (child) in the beautiful Manoa Valley. It is from her that I received my makana (gift) of hula. Some of my earliest memories are her graceful hula movements, and watching her play the ukulele. It was my destiny to inherit her love of hula and performance.
