This book was a joy for me to read for several reasons. It's an easy read, but one I couldn't put down. The rest test for me is if I can put myself in the story...to be the main character, etc. I loved every part of this book & can't wait until the sequel is ready to read. Vickie will probably be my next Janette Oke.

Vicki does a great job of keeping Verl's story interesting and moving, while also maintaining that small-town quality and closeness. When Verl finally meets Grandmother...well I just couldn't put it down. I am anxiously awaiting the sequl, and hopefully that Will comes back into the picture????

Wow! This book has it all! Romance, Mystery, Comedy, and also spiritual thoughts along the way. This is a must for your personal library. An excellent book for a mother to recommend to her daughter! Also an excellent book for a daughter to recommend to her mother. Just a great read for everyone!!!!!! Can't wait for a sequel!
